Our History
Mitra was established in 2012 with a focus on custom hiring solutions for orchard crop growers, specializing in Electrostatic Sprayers (ESS) for grape dipping. This initial venture laid the groundwork for our commitment to providing cutting-edge agricultural technology.
In 2013, we began developing our own line of products, starting with the Grapemaster Blast and Bullet, designed specifically for grape orchards. This was just the beginning of our journey. Today, we boast a portfolio of over 100+ variants of sprayers catering to all types of orchard crops. This diverse range has positioned us as a leading manufacturer of Air Blast Sprayers, Boom Sprayers, and Dusters in India, making us the country’s largest manufacturer in this segment.
Partnership with Mahindra
A significant milestone in our growth occurred in 2018 when Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd acquired a 26% stake in Mitra. This partnership provided us with the resources and expertise to expand our product range and improve our services. By 2023, Mahindra had acquired full ownership of Mitra, solidifying our position within the Mahindra Group’s ecosystem.
